A downloadable game

"In the time before when the sky islands fell, and of the rise of the horse-lords, it was an age of chaos and darkness. And unto this, the adventurers of renown venture forth to conquer the untamed lands and quench the darkness, to rise as kings and queens. You, alone, are masters of your own stories. Become a legend of high adventure!"

Eagleblade is a barebones, modernized OSR-Adjacent game,  allowing the GM and players to jump right in and play right away with little to no prep! It is based on the 2-pages Drakeblade RPG, but expanded with few rules tweaked to improve it and now with tables and more contents.

It should be compatible with most modules and other OSR, making it for a good ol' dungeon-crawling and a great time with beer and pretzels!

  • Only 3 stats where you can tweak them up and down or leave them as default at 10. You subtract 10 and the remaining number becomes the modifier. Simple.
  • D20 with modifiers for performing various things and D6 for damage in combat.
  • GMs do not need to roll, only the players do. That gives the GM more time to think ahead and prep.
  • Tables for GM and Solo Players to flesh out characters, worlds, and more.
  • Leveling is optional, players purchase gains with spending XP.

What you waiting for? Get in here and lop off some heads!

Note: There is only one optional table with strong language on page 14. Please be advised.

Update: Added separated normal Verb/Noun tables for the offended people who didn't notice it in the PDF book in the first place, but good for printing as stand-alone for soloists! It has become my favorite for myself as well!

This looks great! Drakeblade was very good, but this might be even better

Over all this seems like a decent OSR game if you remove the offensive language that I mentioned in my other post.

There is a mention on page 12 of "tribal and savage people".  The use of the word "savage" referring to cultures is considered insulting and demeaning to many people because of the historical context surrounding that word. I would remove that reference and also consider a re-read to see if there are any other references to such that need to be revised.

See also the word "Bitchslap" on page 14.

I mean, there's a RPG called Savage Worlds. How is it demeaning? This is not the real world. If you feel offended, you go play something else. The author did put a warning just above, didn't you read it? The table is only optional.

Are u serious, dude?

It's fictional game for fun.

You're not creator of this stuff, you're not censorship committee.

If you don't like this OSR/game - don't play. What's your problem?

get bent, there are plenty of other games that will walk on eggshells for people with your propensity to find things offensive.
